Original U.S. WWII USMC HBT Herringbone Twill P44 Combat Field Utility Jacket, HBT Cap with EGA Device, and USMC Leggings - Named

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely service-worn WW2 USMC US Marine Corps P44 USMC Combat Field Utility Jacket in Olive Drab, with a matching HBT cap and a set of Marine leggings. This loose fitting sage green herringbone twill (HBT) cotton jacket features original blacked brass "doughnut hole" USMC buttons on the pockets, but the front closure buttons are all period-replaced. There is a breast pocket and stenciled black USMC EGA insignia. The name RUGGIERO is stenciled twice inside the jacket, but there are several marines with this last name that served during WWII.
The WWII P44 HBT Fatigue Cap has an attached EGA device, very small, and the inscribed marking A3866 on the sweatband.
The Marine Corps leggings retain a Philadelphia USMC Depot tag, and are named on both with the same name, though it is too worn now to read properly.
This is a wonderful HBT uniform set, ready for display.
