Original U.S. WWII USAAF Bombardier's Type-A Model 943 Chronometric Tachometer in Case with Manual

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice U.S. Army Air Forces Type-A Chronometric Tachometer model 943, made by TECHNICAL OIL TOOL CORP., complete in its original rubber lined case with basic instructions. The tachometer is housed inside, and was a device for taking precision measurements for making bombing measurements. The case itself measures 4 1/2" x 3" x 1 1/2", and is in very good condition, with great external paint and markings.
The tachometer itself is in very good condition with a few minor scratches, glass front and property tag riveted to back stating U.S. ARMY AIR FORCES. There is an inspection tag from the last time it was serviced, which unfortunately has had the adhesive degrade, so it is sticky and has gotten on the side of the tach.
Comes with two tool tips (a cup and a cone), instruction manual w/ inspection rating and an rpm chart. A rare USAAF WWII Bombadiers tool, usually carried as part of the standard bombadier kit. In very nice condition and ready to display!
