Original Item: Only One Available. These are very nice U.S. Army Air Forces Type-A Chronometric Tachometer models 943, complete in their original rubber case with basic instructions. The tachometer is housed inside, and was a device for taking precision measurements for making bombing measurements.
The tachometers are in very good condition with a few minor scratches, glass front and property tag riveted to backs stating U.S. ARMY AIR FORCES.
The first example comes with two tool tips (a cup and a cone), with inspection rating and an rpm chart. This example was produced by JAEGER and is in working order. The second example still retains the original manual but is missing both tool tips and was made by TOTCO.
