Original Items: Only One Lot of 3 Available. This is a fantastic trio of items, two of which are US Naval Aviation related and the 3rd being a shell casing picture frame. All 3 items are in wonderful condition and compliment each other very well when displayed together!
Naval Station Pearl Harbor is a United States naval base on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. In 2010, along with the United States Air Force's Hickam Air Force Base, the facility was merged to form Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam. Pearl Harbor is the headquarters of the United States Pacific Fleet.
The Items In This Lot:
- Pearl Harbor Ashtray: This is a fantastic cast alloy item which we believe to be an ashtray. The diameter of the ashtray is approximately 5” across. The text on the outer rim reads as U.S. NAVAL. AIR. STATION. PEARL HARBOR T.H.
- Ship’s Wheel Picture Frame With Pilot’s Wings: This is another wonderful Naval Aviation piece of history. It is constructed of machined aluminum with an actual Naval pilot wings affixed towards the base of the wheel. The frame stands at approximately 7” tall with a base measurement of 6” x 3 ⅜”.
- WWII German 1938 Dated 8.8cm Flak18 Frame: The picture frame is constructed of a cut bottom portion of a German Flak 18 round. The two rounds which flank the frame are machined alloy and not nickel plated rounds. The photo inside is a printed out picture which the previous owner used for display purposes.
