  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice knife, brought back by a USGI from the Pacific Theater of WWII. During the war, servicemen were deployed all over the Western Pacific islands, and had much interaction with the island populations, who were often liberated from Japanese occupation. From these locations, they brought back all types of knives.

The knife which features a lovely etched 13 ½” blade with a tanto point, has a triangle shaped hilt with stacked wood grip and aluminum washers, much like a PAL knife. The cross guard and knuckle guard is all aluminum with small cut circles of a Japanese aircraft used as decoration. The scabbard is two pieces of red wood fashioned together with aluminum bands.

This is truly a unique knife that comes more than ready for further research and display.
