Original Item: Only One Available. When one encounters these cases they are almost always empty, but not this one! This appears to be a complete or almost complete Type A-4 Navigator's Dead Reckoning Case. The case itself is leather and was manufactured by the Lather Specialty Co. It is in very good condition with functional clasp and buckles. Inside the case in various compartments are a series of tools, instruments, books and manuals which were issued during World War Two to navigators on aircraft such as the The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and the Consolidated B-24 Liberator. All items appear to be in very good to excellent condition.
