The items featured in this lot:

- x5 M69 “Bluebody” Practice Grenades: These are all mossing with the M228 fuze, safety “thumb clip”, spoons and pins. Only one of the grenades retain the original blue paint while the others were repainted OD green to give them a realistic look. The M69 practice hand grenade simulates the M67-series of fragmentation hand grenades for training purposes. The grenade provides realistic training and familiarizes the user with the functioning and characteristics of the fragmentation hand grenade. The fuze screws into the body, and is replaceable after use. The simulator produces a report and small puff of white smoke when employed.

The M69 has a blue-painted lever and a blue body with white markings. This is to indicate that it is a safe practice grenade rather than a live fragmentation grenade like the M33 or M67.

- M30 Practice Grenade With M10A3 Fuse Assembly: The M30 is the practice version of the M26 grenade. It had a cast-iron two-piece oval body with a plastic base plug. The body was embossed with the symbols "RFX55"; it was originally the basis for an experimental hand grenade that was never put into production. It had a filler of 21 grains of black powder and used the M10A3/M10A4 or M204A1/M204A2 series of fuzes. Its body is painted light blue with a brown band across the middle. When the grenade detonated, the overpressure made the plug pop out and released a plume of black smoke caused by the burnt filler.

- M21 Inert Practice Pineapple Fragmentation Training Hand Grenade With M10 Series Fuse: This is a great example of the M21 Practice Training grenade, an inert version of the iconic U.S. fragmentation pineapple grenade issued during WWII. The Mk II was standardized in 1920 replacing the Mk I of 1917. It was phased out gradually, the U.S. Navy being the last users, and on 2 April 1945 the Mk II and Mk IIA1 were re-designated the Mk 2 and Mk 2A1. The grenade no longer has any paint left.

- M7A1 Anti-Tank Practice Rocket Warhead: This is a very nice original WWII inert M7A1 rocket for the U.S. WWII 2.36 inch M1 / M1A1 Bazooka. Normally, the 2.36" rocket consists of a head, a stabilizer tube, and tail, with a stabilizer on the interior for balance to compensate for the lack of explosives. This example no longer has any component other than the warhead.

- 2 Unknown Practice Grenades
- x8 Assorted Empty Shell Casings, Tail Fin and Projectiles

A lovely lot ready for further research and display.
