Original Items: Only One Lot Available. This is a fantastic grouping for the Aviator enthusiasts of WWII. This lot is a “Winter Summer” type of grouping that features both a leather (Winter) flight helmet as well as a khaki (summer) helmet.
The items in this lot:
- USAAF Leather flight helmet type A-11: No tags are retained on the helmet but size is an approximate medium. The helmet retains the avionics ANB-H-1 receiver. There is wear present and cracking in the finish but this remains a wonderful helmet.
- USAAF Summer flight helmet type AN-H-15 made by BATES SHOE COMPANY Inc Size LARGE: offered in very good condition. There is some wear to the ear cups and overall staining, with a chin strap in excellent condition. It has installed ANB-H-1 headphones with an intact plug.
- Polaroid GOGGLE, SUN, WIND, DUST: The goggles are in very good condition, and are the regular issued ones. The lenses are green and the elastic still stretches.
- Original WWII USAAF Type A-10 Oxygen Mask. A very scarce example is comprised of green rubber with issue stamps and dated 1944. The mask retains the face tube, hose, filters and bladder. Comes in the original box with a packet of spare parts.
