Original U.S. WWII SHAEF Eisenhower Letter Sent to the Troops Before D-Day

Original Item. Only One Available. This is an original D-Day Eisenhower “Message to the Troops” letter as issued to allied forces prior to embarkation for the Normandy Landings in June 1944. The letter measures 6 x 9⅛” and is in fair condition, with some light staining along one of the folds.
The letter is in fair shape overall, with the normal folding marks. The edges where the folds are shows some minor material loss, and there is some staining to the letter as well. There is some ink bleed on the back of where the staining is. This is only the fourth example of this increasingly scarce letter that we have ever offered. Comes ready for further research and display.
