Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice set of three "Summer Weight" U.S. WWII Flight helmets, with a nice set of goggles of the type often worn with them. These were obtained as part of a large aviation collection, and show a very nice range of the various styles used.
This lovely set includes:
- One U.S. WWII USAAF Canvas Flight Helmet by SLOTE & KLEIN in size MEDIUM. It still has the original label, and has earphone avionics installed. It is fitted with a padded chin strap sewn directly to the helmet.
- One U.S. WWII USN NAF 1092 Canvas flight helmet with a chin cup and earphone avionics. It is fitted with a padded chin strap sewn directly to the helmet.
- One U.S. WWII Size SMALL OD Green #3 Flight helmet with canvas ear cups for avionics (not present).
- One U.S. WWII Set of Polaroid M-1944 goggles with cracked lenses in good condition.
