Original Item: Only One Set Available. This is a set of ten different psychological warfare paper leaflets developed by the U.S. Government for dropping over inhabited areas of Japan. The purpose was to break the will of the Japanese people causing them to disobey their government and cease hostilities against the American forces. Leaflet designs and messages varied greatly and only some examples have been documented. This collection of 10 leaflets is nicely varied and shows an array of messages from threats to comfort, sort of like the carrot or the stick. All are offered in good condition and most meager approximately 5" x 8".
