Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great set of leaflets, three of which are versions of the same Safe conduct pass dropped on German soldiers during the war, a fourth which is Yugoslavian, and a booklet titled “Krauts are Out”.
The three leaflets dropped on German soldiers are meant as safe conduct passes so that the soldiers are not fired upon. They each measure 5 ¼ x 8 ½” and have the same information on the red side. The other side has slight differences in the information provided. There is various tearing and material loss across the leaflets.
The Yugoslavian leaflet is 8 x 10” when unfolded, and was dropped on Yugoslavians who were occupied by Germans, telling them to keep fighting both in the open and in hiding, as liberation was coming and they were counting on their help when the time comes.
The final piece is the “Krauts are Out” booklet issued to American soldiers after V-E Day to help them in their time occupying Germany. It tells the same old story about what AH was doing and why you need to demilitarize Germany and take advantage of programs for soldiers returning home. The booklet is 23 pages and is in great shape, measuring 4 ¾ x 7 ¼”.
