Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great lot of WWII Propaganda material including a great framed placemat with animal depictions of the Axis leaders, and a great collection of matchbooks.

The group includes:

● Framed placemat which depicts Benito Mussolini, Adolf H, and Hideki Tojo as a monkey, donkey, and snake. If it weren’t for these three sunzawitches you’d be eating off a linen tablecloth! Buy War Bonds… NOW. This was put together by the Joint Council of Teamsters. The mat is in fantastic shape and is in a great double-sided glass frame measuring 15 x 21”. The mat itself measures 13½ x 10”.
● Jap Snake Hunting License named to Henry Charles McKelvey C.M.M.U.S.N., depicts a Japanese snake on the back. Great piece of culture. Reminds reader about Pearl Harbor and Corregidor, Guam, and Wake.
● Great large size USS Missouri matchbook with sailors depicted on the oversized matches, still full with all 22 matches intact with facts about the USS Missouri on the interior cover. Measures 3⅜ x 4¼”.
● Marine Corps matchbook for Platoon Leader Class, information asking college men to enlist on back. Still has all original matches.
● Collection of 11 Used matchbook covers without their matches, all WWII Propaganda covers, some Navy and some civilian. A fantastic collection!
