Original Item. Only One Available. The attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 ignited not only anger towards the enemy, it also sparked a wildfire of patriotism in every American in all corners of the country. As the war effort was kicked into overdrive, Americans did everything they could to remind each other why they were fighting and what could be lost. A prime example of these reminders is this item you are looking at here. It is very patriotic in nature and design, bearing the slogan “Remember Pearl Harbor” . In the early years of WWII how could you not remember Pearl Harbor?
This is a gorgeous small gold-painted statue of a U.S. Sailor pulling up the sleeve on his left arm, preparing to fight. The base reads REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR. The small statue measures 4¾ tall with a 2½” base length. There is a piece of black felt on the bottom which is almost entirely ripped off, but it will sit under the piece fine regardless. A great piece, ready for further research and display.
