Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is an outstanding relic set which would fit well into any aviation or WWII collection. This board contains a myriad of relic items found in the Bastogne area in the 1990s, including a German bayonet, American M3 knife, a relic BAR magazine with rounds still inside, mess kit pieces, artillery fuzes, cartridges, machine gun belt, stripper clips, en bloc clips, belt pieces, and more. We have no written provenance for where the relics came from. As this item is decorated with deactivated ammunition and ordnance, it is Not Available for Export.

The board, which measures 23 ⅞ x 23 ⅞”, is painted green and is not marked anywhere we can find. There are 82 cartridges/shell casings, two fuze heads, a machine gun ammunition belt, two sides of a cartridge belt closure, an American mess kit lid, a German canteen cup and mess kit lid, a German bayonet, an American M3 knife, a BAR magazine heavily rusted with cartridges still inside, stripper clips, a 2-prong fork, what looks to be a fighting knife, and some flare gun cartridge casings. Please advise that the board is quite heavy.

The board does not currently have a hanging wire or any mounting system. It will display just as well laid flat as it would be leaned against a wall, but a hanging wire could likely be installed if the owner wished to hang it.
