Original U.S. WWII Navy USN Issued Boxing Gloves by Wilson Marked USN on Cuffs

Original Item. Only One Available. The U.S. Navy has a rich history of boxing, with programs at the Naval Academy and opportunities for sailors to participate in local and Armed Forces competitions, fostering morale and developing leadership qualities.
This is a tremendous set of U.S.N. marked boxing gloves manufactured by Wilson Sporting Goods during World War II. The gloves are both marked on the cuffs with U.S.N. with one glove having the Wilson logo above this, and the markings 324 14X below it.
The gloves retain their red color well with some staining and wear to the material. The palms have five small holes which are still retained.
