Original U.S. WWII Navy Type A Portable Multi-Purpose Signal Light With Battery
Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent example of a World War II US Navy Type A Portable Multipurpose Signal Light. This kit was manufactured by the Delta-Electric Company. The Delta Electric Company was an American electronics manufacturer formed in 1913 in Marion, Indiana that produced lanterns, flashlights, automotive and bicycle lighting, battery tubes, horns, horn buttons, light switches, other battery-powered electrical parts, and bilge pumps. It was moved to Marion from an existing business in Chicago following a stock purchase.
These lights were used by USN personnel on landing crews or in small boats to signal nearby ships. The set is in good condition, and appears to be in working order. Included with the light assembly besides the cord is the 9 Volt battery. Both the battery and the box itself retain near perfect labels:

The Battery is marked as:

As previously stated, the light appears to be working but is being sold "AS IS" due to age. This light comes as an untested example.
