The suit is a size 40 and features electric heating with Colvinex metal core yarn, a state-of-the-art technology at that time. The suit is equipped with a sturdy zip front, zip fly, and zippers running the length of the legs, making it easy to put on and take off.The suit's heavyweight, brown leather material gives it a rugged and durable appearance, and the brown fur collar adds a touch of elegance to its overall design. The suit has numerous “Talon” zippers, but there are a couple spots where they are missing. The suit's belted front enhances its fit and comfort, and the woven COLVINEX data tag within the neck adds a touch of authenticity. The two lowest pockets are missing their buttons, but overall it’s in good condition.The suit comes with a USN marked leather flight helmet with retained headphones and avionics, as well as a T-30 microphone. The leather helmet is size Medium, made by Slote & Klein. The smaller Type A-9 summer flight helmet is Size Large, and has attached flight goggles.This is a nice worn example of a flight suit & helmet set, ready for further research and display.
