Original U.S. WWII Naval Officer Khaki Summer "Bostonian" Peaked Visor Cap - Size 7 3/8

Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This is an original "Bostonian" model U.S. Navy Officer's Visor cap in summer Khaki issue color, was made for BOSTON UNIFORM COMPANY, INC., as marked on the top strap. The sweatband is embossed with Bostonian in gold, and there is still a faded paper tag on the back with the size 7 3/8. The cap still has the original size tag with the same size marked. The front of the cap has a stamped officer's Eagle badge over brass crossed anchors.
The cap is in great shape, with only minor staining to the fabric and a few small holes. The patent leather visor/peak does have a crack, and some wear, and there is general wear on the sweatband and surrounding area. The original stiffener is still intact, and attached to the top band.
