Original Items: Only One Set Available. From the bleak Aleutians to the isolated airstrips of the Pacific, US Navy pilots of WW2 were issued the M-445A sheepskin leather flight jacket for winter weather. This US Navy WW2 M-445A is in good condition, with small tearing to the left reverse shoulder. Otherwise, the jacket is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough sheepskin leather construction, which still remains fairly supple and pliant. Most interestingly, it boasts a warm sheepskin fleece lined collar and interior, sports a brass front zipper (non-functional) and bears the classic US Navy black and gold nomenclature tag at the interior neck that reads:

APPROXIMATE SIZE 40. It features button closures at the front pockets and middle waist, carries leather strap and brass buckle side adjusters, and is "USN" stamped at the back underside of the collar. A nice example of a very rare, original Original U.S. WWII Navy Sheepskin Winter Flight Jacket M-445A. We have shown a photo of a US Navy pilot in WW2 wearing a similar M-445A sheepskin leather flight jacket.
The trousers have a nomenclature tag that reads:

With very few, insignificant exceptions, these old Navy flight pants are in near excellent condition almost is as if they were never worn. The TALON zippers work smoothly and quickly. The shearling looks excellent and the exterior is of the same condition. Size 40 or M for medium.
These heavy winter USN WW2 flight suits are very hard to find today. Perfect for a Pacific Theatre collection!
