Original Item: Only One Available. This fine World War II United States Coast Guard officer visor hat features a fins metal cap badge, patent gilt strap and visor. Inside is an original manufacturer’s label. Construction materials include: Wicker, punched leather, patent leather, silk ribbon, plated brass, paper, cellophane. A really great example.
The cap shows no major defects and is in overall very good condition with slight discoloration in spots and some wear. The hat is stamped Size 7⅛ under the sweatband. A great piece, ready for further research and display.
