Item Description

Original Items: Only One pair Available. Known as the Model 1939 American Service Shoe these low quarter boots were also called walking out boots by USGIs. These were standard issue to US troops serving in the Army and Air Force at the start of the WW2, eventually replaced by the rough-out boot. This pair in excellent wearable condition boot is made from russet brown leather with leather toe cap and a two piece stitched-in rubber sole. Worn in combat with the M1938 leggings, these boots were also popular off-duty.

They are also laundry numbered V-8581.The laces are in good shape but show some fraying. The soles are in great shape and are made by Goodyear. Overall condition is very good.
