Original Item: Only One Available. One of the most important tools on the battlefield aside from your brain is the weapon system in which you are armed with. Whether it was in combat or just training, preventative and continual maintenance on your weapon is important. This cleaning kit is often referred to as a “squad” cleaning kit due to the amount of materials inside.
The kit is supposed to contain: (10) parkerized steel cleaning rods, (10) bronze bore brushes, (10) takedown tools, (1) oiler, (1) cosmic container and lastly a dozen or so small cleaning cloths.
This kit contains: (8) parkerized steel cleaning rods, (7) bronze bore brushes, (1) takedown tool, (1) oiler, (1) cosmic container and no cleaning cloths. It is missing 2 cleaning rods, three bore brushed, nine takedown tools, and all of the cleaning cloths.
The kit comes contained in its original US stamped 9” x 5” x 2” steel box. The overall condition is really nice and does show signs of faithful use and presents itself without any extensive damage or wear. The box is undamaged, still closing and locking as intended.
This is a wonderful kit that is missing some parts, but will still work as intended. Comes ready for display or even to use!
