Original Item: Only One Available. Totally inert and demilitarized according to BATF guidelines with hollow body and inert fuse. This grenade cannot be converted to an explosive device and is not available for export.
This is a lovely WWII era trench art lamp made from the body of a Mk. II “Pineapple” grenade which was painted a dark green and attached to a cast iron base. The lamp socket attached in place of a fuze retains markings with a patent date of November 26th, 1907. We tested it, and the lamp still works well.
The lamp without a light bulb measures 8” tall with a 4” base diameter.
A great functional trench art lamp, ready to display!
