Dated 1933 and manufactured by the Philadelphia Uniform Company this is an excellent condition size 7 1/8 USMC Pre-WWII United States Marine Corps Enlisted or NCO visor cap worn with the dress blue uniform. This style of dress blue uniform was used before World War Two and in the early years, making this style hat quite rare.

    Constructed of dark blue wool, piped in red, with pliable black leather visor which is securely sewn to the body of the hat. Black leather adjustable chinstrap with two bronze USMC EGA side buttons. The lining is black and it is maker marked Philadelphia Uniform Co 1933 on the underside of the leather sweatband. It is name stamped in several places to the original owner, one W.P. TARASOFF. Offered in excellent condition.
