The pack is constructed from dark olive-drab canvas and retains an original functional PRENTICE / Streamline zipper, a particularly desirable feature to find still intact and operating. The interior is stamped:

    This denotes 1944 manufacture by the Hepburn Mfg. Co., incorporated. The bag is in overall good condition without any serious damage, though there are straps missing on the back as shown. This would make a compelling addition to any WWII field gear collection.
