Original Item. Only One Available. This is a United States Military M-1 Jungle First Aid Kit. The United States Military provided one to each of their troops serving in the Pacific in 1942.
The M-1 Kit came with standard issue equipment but on occasion men modified their kits to suit the conditions they were serving in. This kit contains:
- Johnson & Johnson Adhesive tape, “Zo”. Appears complete or near complete.
- Insecticide Powder for Body Crawling Insects by Clark-Cleveland Inc. Still appears full. The best name for a product I’ve ever seen.
- Halazone Water Purification Tablets, two bottles of 100.
- Frazer’s Solution for Athlete’s Foot, Half Strength. In a plastic bag.
- Sulfadiazine Tablets by the Upjohn Company. Still sealed.
- Carlisle Model First Aid Packet by Handy Pad Supply Co, still sealed.
- One tube of Atabrine tablets for prevention of symptoms of malaria. There are three other similar tubes with pills but their labels have all come off.
- Foot powder, one ounce in cardboard box.
- Waterproof Adhesive Compresses, 16 per package. By the BF McDonald Company.
- Two Screw-cap Iodine Applicators, with poison labels, still sealed. By the Davis Emergency Equipment Co., same maker as the roll-up itself.
The set still rolls up well and the tie-strings work without issue. This is the first example of this scarce roll-up jungle medical kit we have offered, so don’t miss out!
