  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a nice example of the rare WWII Vehicle Scabbard for the U.S. M1 Carbine that is in good shape overall. The scabbard shows signs of being honestly used, the leather is still light tan throughout and the deep black finish is mostly worn on all metal parts. This example shows some expected wear to the exterior of the leather, as expected after decades in storage. It still retains its straps although some are broken as shown. These are extremely difficult to find, especially with an early date like this. Solid markings are present on the back to the right of the U.S. marking:

    U.S.
    HOTZE
    1943

These scabbards were attached to jeeps, motorcycles, horses and other transportation equipment to allow easy access to the weapon. M1 carbine versions are exceptionally hard to find, this is an ideal specimen for the Carbine or vehicle collector alike!

    Comes ready for display.
