Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great lot of three military bibles from World War II. One of the three has a Heart Shield and is well-named, another is a named Air Corps bible, and the third is an unnamed Army bible.
The lot includes:
Heart Shield bible reading MAY THIS KEEP YOU SAFE FROM HARM named to Sgt. Don Fleischauer, Company B, 90th Engineers, gifted by his mother in 1943. Don was overseas for 16 months before returning home and being gifted the Bible, and he likely went back again afterwards. A fantastic piece worthy of further research. Measures 4½ x 3”.
Air Corps bible named to Pvt. Clarence D. Miller ASN 13153986, of the 317th A.A.F.B.Y. (F.C.) at Drew Field, Tampa, Florida. We can’t find much on this unit making it a great research project!
U.S. Army Bible, not named. Good example.
