Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a tremendously unique send-home capture, one with a fantastic inscription. This letter was penned by an American soldier named Sonny on August 19th, 1945 on stationary belonging to none other than AH himself. The page measures 7¾ x 8¼”. The stationary is marked:

The letter, which is very well-written, reads:

Dearest Mother:

Today, the Japanese government formally surrendered to the allies, thus ending the mighty conflict of World War II. So, I thought it appropriate to pen a few words of appreciation for having faith in me throughout the long days, on some of Adolph’s private stationary - direct from his Chancellory in Berlin.

I thought you might like to save this as a symbol of the inevitable triumph of right over wrong. When one of the masses can sit down and write a letter to his mother on such “sacred” paper, you know the rising sun of treachery and greed has finally set.
