Item Description

Original Item: This is a very rare 1944-1945 KA-Bar USN (U.S. Navy) marked fighting knife with scabbard. The markings on the hand guard are as follows:

USN MK2

and on the opposite side:

KA-BAR

The hard scabbard is nicely marked:

U.S.N

MK 2

and on the reverse:

NORD-6581

B.M. Co 8 VP

Knife features original leather washer grip, some original bluing, and heavy steel pommel. The scabbard is also in very good condition with complete web frog and functional snap. USN KA-BAR knives are exceptionally hard to find.
