Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a lovely lot of items brought back by an American soldier serving in Italy during World War II. The items include a souvenir knife (not sharp) with a naked lady for a grip. These "nude knives" were popular with American troops and were offered in small street markets throughout Naples. All known examples are stamped NAPLES 1945, like this one.Also included are a lovely engraved bracelet depicting men around a statue in Livorno, Italy, with depictions of flowers and a camel along with locations on the smaller pieces. There is a 34th Infantry Division patch, a 5th Army patch, and a captured Italian Bustina insignia made with velvet and bullion. There is a lovely set of three postcards depicting Mussolini, and a small Italian flag with a painted/printed coat of arms and crown. The flag measures roughly 11 x 16”.The naked lady knife has an overall length of 11¼”, and is in good shape overall with some heavy wear.A fantastic lot of Italian Front souvenirs, ready for further research and display!
