Original Items. Only One Pair Available. This is a scarce set of two WWII Mk-23 Mod-1 60mm mortar practice bombs. These are completely inert and are in compliance with the BATF specifications on inert ordnance. Not Available for Export.
The rounds are both made of lead and were made as trainers. The first round is marked on the sides MK-23 MOD-1 D 434157-F-14. The second round is marked AN-MK23MOD1. They are in good shape but one has some oxidation pitting and was likely partially submerged for a while. They measure roughly 8¼” long. A very scarce set of practice bombs, ready for further research and display.
