Original Items. Only One Available. This is a scarce WWII Mk-23 Mod-1 60mm mortar practice bomb on a period mount. This is completely inert and is in compliance with the BATF specifications on inert ordnance. Not Available for Export.
The round is made of lead and was made as a trainer. The round is marked on the side AN-MK23-MOD.1. It is in good shape but has some oxidation pitting and had one of the fins ripped off to make room for the screw to mount it. It measures roughly 8¼” long, and the base measures 9½ x 3”. The base has some cracking in it, but also has a small mount on the bottom to hang the piece on a wall. A great example, ready for further research and display.
