Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a set of four United States World War Two home front Propaganda sterling silver lapel pins as follows:
- Sterling silver shovel that is inscribed; BURY A JAP
- Sterling silver axe that is inscribed; AXE THE AXIS
- Sterling silver pickaxe that is inscribed; PICK DEEP IN THE HEART OF AXIS
- Sterling silver pitchfork that is inscribed; PITCH FOR THE ALLIES
Each pin is made from Sterling Silver and measures between 1 1/4" and 2" in height and is offered in excellent condition with expected light tarnish from age, easily polished if desired.
Homefront Lapel Pins were used for morale during the war. The need for unity as a nation became a focal point of the home front effort which created cottage industries to support the troops.
