Original Item. Only One Available. This is a gorgeous original example of a scarce German-dropped propaganda leaflet dropped on American soldiers in Italy. It depicts a skull and sinking ships and planes with text: 'Beach-Head. Death's Head !'. It deters soldiers away from continuing their fight due to the high losses suffered at Anzio.’The Beach-Head has become a Death’s Head!’
The leaflet measures 3½ x 5” and has no serious fold creases. The bottom right of the back reads AI-064a-5-44.
