Original Items: Only One Lot of 6 Available. A one of a kind lot of six various WWII GI Field Gear pieces. All pieces are in original, unmodified, condition, and show signs of honest use and storage wear that has accumulated over the last several decades.
The Lot Includes The Following Items:
Dismounted M1923 Cartridge Belt: for the M1903 Springfield/M1 Garand Rifle maker marked by HINSON MFG. CO. and dated 1945. U.S. Marked on the front right pouch. All snaps are functional.
Bag, Food, Waterproof, Jungle aka “Jungle Food Bag”. Mint/Unissued condition. Nice and pliable, with original tie. Dated March 13, 1945. These were favored by GIs serving in both the PTO and ETO.
M1928 Field Pack Dated 1942 and made by Boyt. Does not include Pack Extender or Meatcan Pouch. Very solid condition and clean. Crisp U.S. stamp on the outer flap. All straps and hardware are intact.
M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch. OD#7. Second type variant pouch with eyelets on the bottom. Rare maker “Gailee” and dated 1945.
Minefield Marking Kit. Comes with original Khaki Canvas Pouch with strap, four luminescent painted metal marking flags, and a roll of yellow cotton tape to mark cleared paths through a minefield.
Kit, First Aid, Aeronautic. Complete with contents.
48 Star Flag with Medals. WWII Victory Medal, American Defense Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, ETO Campaign Medal, and 1942 26th Division Medal.
