Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower (born David Dwight Eisenhower; October 14, 1890 – March 28, 1969) was the 34th president of the United States, serving from 1953 to 1961. A General of the Army, Eisenhower was the supreme commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force. His successful leadership in Operation Torch (1942–1943) and Operation Overlord (Jun–Aug 1944) was pivotal to the Allied victory in World War II.
This is a great framed signature of Ike, taken from a letter with “Sincerely” above the signature. The frame measures 8 ¼ x 15 ¼” and also features an original SHAEF patch. There is also a Certificate of Authenticity on the back. The frame has no hanging wire, instead having velcro pieces on the top and bottom, so command strips are needed to hang it.
