Original Item: Only One Set of 2 Available. This is a fantastic set of two iconic rifle grenades from WWII up into the Vietnam War. A rifle grenade is a grenade that uses a rifle-based launcher to permit a longer effective range than would be possible if the grenade were thrown by hand.
Both items are totally inert and void of any explosive content. The grenades are unable to be used as a destructive device and are in complete compliance per the current BATF regulations governing ordnance.

The practice of projecting grenades with rifle-mounted launchers was first widely used during World War I and World War II and continues to the present, with the term "rifle grenade" now encompassing many different types of payloads including high explosive, fragmentation, anti-tank warheads, concussion, smoke, incendiary, and flare missiles.
Rifle grenades have largely been supplanted in the infantry fire support role by a combination of grenade launchers (typically affixed to rifles) and disposable anti-armor rockets.
The Items In This Lot:
- M11A3 Practice Grenade: The M11A3 was designed with replaceable components so that it may be easily repaired and re-used. This series included the M11A1 thru M11A4, each successive model incorporating cost reducing features for manufacture as well as use.
Measures approximately 11.5" long and 2" in diameter and was repainted OD green. The dome cap is still able to be removed easily for inspection of the interior.
- M1A2 Rifle Grenade Adapter With Practice Grenade: This adapter allowed the MkII pineapple grenade to be used with the M7 and M8 grenade launchers for greater range. It is in very good condition.
