Original Items: Only One Lot of 6 Available. This is a wonderful lot of inert ordnance used for training and practice. All items are in fantastic condition with great paint retained as well as noticeable repaint of the rifle grenades. Each item is inert and safe to handle making them in total compliance per the current regulations governing inert ordnance ownership outline by the BATF.

Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. This example is in total compliance and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.

The items in this lot:
- x3 MkII RFX M21 Pineapple Grenade With x1 1945 Dated M1 Rifle Grenade Adapter: This adapter allowed the MkII pineapple grenade to be used with the M7 and M8 grenade launchers for greater range. It is in very good condition, though the fin assembly at the bottom is dented inward on one side. Only two of the inert practice grenades are marked on the bodies with RFX.

- x2 M11A2 Practice Grenades (Repainted): A rifle grenade is a grenade that uses a rifle-based launcher to permit a longer effective range than would be possible if the grenade were thrown by hand.

The practice of projecting grenades with rifle-mounted launchers was first widely used during World War I and World War II and continues to the present, with the term "rifle grenade" now encompassing many different types of payloads including high explosive, fragmentation, anti-tank warheads, concussion, smoke, incendiary, and flare missiles.

Rifle grenades have largely been supplanted in the infantry fire support role by a combination of grenade launchers (typically affixed to rifles) and disposable anti-armor rockets.
