The M1919 saw service as a light infantry, coaxial, mounted, aircraft, and anti-aircraft machine gun by the U.S. and many other countries.
This is a very interesting WWII fighting knife made from the receiver plate and carry handle of an M1919A4 Browning machine gun. The side of the blade retains the original information:
