The M1919 Browning is a .30 caliber medium machine gun that was widely used during the 20th century, especially during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The M1919 saw service as a light infantry, coaxial, mounted, aircraft, and anti-aircraft machine gun by the U.S. and many other countries.


    This is a very interesting WWII fighting knife made from the receiver plate and carry handle of an M1919A4 Browning machine gun. The side of the blade retains the original information:

    The 4 ¾” blade has serrating at the ricasso on one side, and is darkened at the tip. The hilt is entirely made from an M1919A4 Browning carry handle. The overall length is 9 ⅛”.
