Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very rare totally original M1916 holster, made by one of the rarest makers of this holster, S-B CO., otherwise known as Straus-Bodenheimer Saddlery Co.. Out of the countless makers of this holster, S-B Co. only produced 20,000. It shows very little sign of being used, with just a bit of wear on the interior and verdigris on the fittings. It is embossed U S in an oval on the flap, indicating that this was a military issue holster.
All stitches still intact, all brass parts still present with a small bit of verdigris, and a steel WWII style belt clip. The leather is still supple as well, and the leg tie down is still intact! Just perfect for a high grade WWII issue 1911 .45 pistol!
