Item Description
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a really tremendous WWII advertisement for Bugler Cigarette Tobacco, a very popular tobacco brand during World War I. The advertisement is printed on cardboard and reads BUGLER Roll Your Own! 5 and 10 Cent Cigarette Tobacco. The bottom right markings read UNION MADE Reg. #1061-1-41, giving this a regulation date of January, 1941. There is a silhouette of a Doughboy soldier with a bugle with a box of the tobacco to his left.
The poster measures roughly 12 x 18”, and is in really great shape overall minus some scratches and scuffs on the soidler’s hand and a small nick in the word Cigarette. There’s also some bending evidence in the bottom left. This example would look great in a frame hung up in a man cave or Legion post. Printed by Allied Printing in New York. A very nice WWII era advertisement, the first of its kind we have offered. Ready for further research and display.
