  • Original Item: US WW2 dummy rounds. Steel-cased M2 dummy cartridges head stamped FA 4 (Frankford Arsenal 1944). This is the second version of the .30 cal M2 dummy cartridge and was the standard for the last two years of WW2. The steel case is drilled for identification, and has a blind primer pocket.


    These .30 cal M2 dummy rounds had the bullet tips painted by the last military organization they were used by to simulate the Cartridge, Armor-Piercing Incendiary (API), M14. The color code for API is aluminum paint.
