Original U.S. WWII DANGER Mine Field Marker Kit Flag Set Case Complete with 29 Marking Flags in Original Paper

Original Item: Only One Set Available. Issued in WWII as the Army minefield marking kit, this is a lovely field used set with (29) 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" metal yellow fluorescent and retroreflective flags marked DANGER on 20" metal posts. The flags are all wrapped in their original paper which is very difficult to find, as it means that they were never used. There is however some wear from storage that has worn the paint a bit on some of the markers. The front of the pouch is marked U.S. ARMY.
These markers were used by U.S. World War Two American mine detector teams to mark the location of enemy landmines. They come complete in their correct carry case with an intact carry strap. The yellow tape is unfortunately missing.
This is a very lovely set, which almost never comes complete like this, ready for further research and display.
