This is a tremendous WWII poster instructing family members of soldiers overseas to ship packages for armed forces overseas between September 15th and October 15th to arrive to their soldiers on time. The poster measures 21 x 28” and is in great shape overall with just some edge tearing and minor staining.
You can see the eyes as these two wait to receive a package from back home. The mailing box shown is addressed to a soldier stationed overseas. Perhaps it contains homemade cookies and a few pairs of new socks! There are stars in the sky above the soldier & sailor, and country outlines on the globe at the bottom of the image. A very lovely piece of Christmas decor for your home or collection!
