  • Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a phenomenal engraved trench art canteen with a travel diary engraved around the body, named and numbered on the bottom to Hyman L. Adelman, 51st Service Group. 


    The canteen is dated 1942 and was manufactured by A.P. Co. (Aluminum Products Company). The travel diary includes Assam, Dijak, Myitkyima, Dibrugarh, Chabua Mohanhari, India, Burma, China, and many more locations. There is a great opportunity for research in this canteen.


    This is a great piece of trench art, fully identified to Private First Class Hyman L. Adelman, serial number 33249431. He enlisted on August 5th, 1942 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and was born in 1921. A great piece, ready for further research and display.
