Original U.S. WWII Case Utility Knife with Belt Scabbard

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. Here we have a wonderful example of a hard to find WWII utility knife in really good condition, complete with leather belt scabbard. This lovely utility knife was made by Case cutlery, one of many companies making similar knives. During WWII there was a very large demand for fighting knives, particularly in the Pacific theater. Not all soldiers would normally be issued them, so the private market for fighting knives was booming.

This example is fairly typical, with a single edged clip point blade. However, while most had wooden handles, this has a lovely stacked leather washer handle. There looks to have been several "unknown" patterns of these knives, and like this one, they were only marked CASE on the blade ricasso. Condition is very good, showing just a bit of bending on the edge, and signs of the blade being cleaned. It comes with a lovely leather belt sheath, which has a retaining loop at the top and was most likely added as it appears to be for a double edged knife.

Overall this is a great chance to own a lovely condition Case Utility Knife, complete with a period scabbard. This would be a fantastic way to fill out a World War II US military knives.
