This is a very nice original U.S. WWII sweetheart jewelry and homefront grouping containing a broad assortment of Army, Navy, Air Forces, patriotic, and service-related pieces, together with a colorful AAF handkerchief. These types of pins, lockets, and small patriotic accessories were widely worn or carried by family members and loved ones during WWII as personal expressions of support, remembrance, and connection to those serving in uniform.
Included is a red Army Air Forces handkerchief with a white border and the inscription REMEMBER ME above the AAF insignia. The bright wartime design makes it one of the most visually distinctive pieces in the group.
