Original U.S. WWII Army Air Forces Communication Set - Three Throat Microphones & 2 Headsets

Original Items: Only One Set Available. Purchased at a recent military show, this is a very nice set of communication equipment used by members of the U.S. Army Air Forces. The headphones could be used anywhere, but the throat mics were specifically designed to allow communication while wearing an oxygen mask, as required at high altitudes in unpressurized cabins. This affected both pilots as well as air crew members.
This very nice set consists of the following 5 items:
- One WWII USAAF T-30-R Throat Microphone with connecting wire and intact elastic strap.
- One WWII USAAF T-30-S Throat Microphone with connecting wire and intact elastic strap.
- One WWII USAAF T-30-V Throat Microphone with connecting wire and elastic strap broken at one end.
- One pair of WWII USAAF ANB-H-1 Receivers with small rubber surrounds, attached to an adjustable leather covered steel headband. They are maker marked with intact fabric covered wiring, which still has an intact end plug.
- One pair of WWII USAAF ANB-H-1 Receivers with large rubber surrounds which have finished chamois padding, much like the inside of a flight helmet. These are attached to an adjustable leather covered steel headband. They are maker marked with intact fabric covered wiring, which still has an intact end plug.
Overall a very nice condition U.S. Army Air Force communication set, ready to display as is, or use to complete some larger display.
